Important: this guide covers only the patient menu (“My Options”). Therapy pressure and mode are set only by your doctor or sleep lab. It does not replace the user guide of your device.
How the patient menu works
The AirSense 10 is operated with a dial: turning selects a line or a value, pressing opens or saves. The Start/Stop button starts and ends therapy, the Home button takes you back to the home screen.
Setting the ramp
- On the home screen select “My Options” and press the dial.
- Turn to “Ramp” and press.
- Select the value you want (Off, 5 to 45 minutes or Auto) and press to save.
Setting the humidity level
On devices with the HumidAir humidifier: in “My Options” turn to the humidity level, press, choose Off or level 1 to 8 and press to save. Dry nose or mouth: increase the level. Condensation in the tube: lower the level.
Mask fit test
Put on your mask and select “Run Mask Fit” in “My Options”. The device delivers air; adjust mask, cushion and headgear until “Good” is shown. If you cannot achieve a good seal, contact your provider. Tips: mask leaks.
Sleep Report
After ending therapy the Sleep Report shows usage hours, mask seal and humidifier. The device's total usage is explained in how to read the operating hours. Detailed SD card data can be viewed with OSCAR: reading the SD card.
Power saving mode
Hold Start/Stop for three seconds: the display goes dark. Press Start/Stop once: the home screen appears again. Do not disconnect the device from power so that therapy data can be saved.
Individual menu items (e.g. EPR, SmartStart) only appear if your provider has enabled them. Menu names may differ slightly depending on the device language; the user guide of your device always takes priority.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the pressure on the AirSense 10 myself?

What does ramp “Auto” mean?
The device starts at a lower pressure and increases it to the prescribed value once it detects that you have fallen asleep.
Which humidity level is right?
Start in the middle. If your nose or mouth is dry, go higher; if water collects in the tube, go lower.
Where do I find the operating hours?
In the Sleep Report on the home screen – see our article on reading the operating hours.
We do not replace medical advice. Only change therapy pressure and settings as prescribed by your doctor.
